Construction by owners

When this garden was purchased by the owners, it had very little ‘living greenery’. It was essentially a blank canvas, as was mostly paved in concrete & bricks.

Restoring green back to the space became our brief, as we focussed on screening & providing a sense of privacy in the back whilst creating a leafy outlook in the front. We wanted to see nature from as many windows as possible and made sure we included some rare and unusual flowering species for added interest.

Sensitive to the Federation-style of the home, the landscape design was a playful process of weaving traditional, warm-temperate species with edibles (such as citrus trees & climbing grape vines).
