Kirsten Brown's journey into landscape architecture began with two enduring passions: a love of plants and the natural world, and a deep appreciation for the way considered design can shape how we experience a space.
After earning her degree in Landscape Architecture, Kirsten built a career that has taken her across Australia, the UK, and Central Asia. Along the way, she’s worked on everything from intimate residential gardens to large-scale urban regeneration schemes, children’s play areas, water features, shared-use streets, and public art collaborations.
Her approach is both creative and grounded—shaped by classical training and a special interest in sustainable ecology.
As the founder and director of TOPOS Landscape, Kirsten brings a quiet confidence to her work. She listens carefully, values personal connection, and takes pride in creating outdoor spaces that reflect the people who live in them. Her designs are always evolving—just like the landscapes themselves.
