The playful brief from the artist in residence involved a warm and rosy colour palette to be reflected both inside and out. Working with both client & architect, we created a garden that balanced traditional references of the original building at the front with the contemporary addition of the back.

The broader planting palette weaved pink-flowering species through the gardens, such as Anemone japonica 'Fantasy Jasmine', Bougainvillea, Hibiscus rosa-sinensis 'Mrs George Davis', Protea Pink Ice & Viola odorata 'Pink'. Around the perimeter of the master suite at level 1, hardy succulents and trailing groundcovers were used to create a soft, green private outlook.
