The brief for this garden was to create a painterly, expressive landscape with texture and movement. A variety of native grasses were paired with silver foliage species to create contrast and softness, while small tree planting along the boundary provided screening and seasonal interest.

Drainage challenges on site were resolved through grading and sub-surface systems. The material palette referenced the contemporary architecture of the house, using corten steel for edging and painted black railway sleepers for structure and definition.
