In this tight outdoor rear space with an established native Melaleuca tree, the brief was to create a low maintenance garden. We used different native grasses such as Dianella caerulea 'Little Jess', Lomandra 'Little Lime' & Lomandra longifolia to build a layered variation of textures.

In the front garden we kept the look traditional to reflect the era of the original building, using white flowering planting (Arthropodium 'Matapouri Bay', Azalea 'White Bouquet') and formal Buxus japonica hedging.
