Design Ideas
Some design ideas may be suggested to the client that they may want to execute over time themselves.
Sketch Design
A simple drawing to illustrate design intent at a conceptual level.
Drawings
A set of more detailed, scaled drawings, such as plan, elevation and sections, to illustrate design intent.
The drawings are useful to liaise with contractors to establish cost estimates prior to construction.
Professional Fees
Fees for a sketch design, drawings and consultancy is based on a time charge, either hourly or daily.
As a guide, a percentage fee of 10% based on the total construction cost, depending on the project’s complexity, may be appropriate.
No job is considered too big or too small.

TOPOS landscape architects is based in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
We endeavour to embrace the art of designing the outdoor environment; whether a private garden, a coastal promenade or a civic square.
Landscape architecture is a unique and wonderful fusion of the natural sciences (ecology, horticulture, physical geography) and the visual arts (design and architecture).

Landscape architect
Kirsten trained at the The University of NSW’s Built Environment Faculty, gaining a degree in Landscape architecture in 1995.
She has worked on many aspects of landscape works, including both conceptual and detail design work of private residential gardens, urban parks, urban subdivisions, children’s play areas, water features, swimming pools, shared-use streets, urban regeneration schemes and plant specification.
She has also liaised with artists to commission works for public and private landscapes.
She has dual Australian and British citizenship and has an international portfolio of design projects which span Australia, the UK and Central Asia.
Kirsten has Associate Membership of the British Landscape Institute (Design Section).
